Clients are individuals and I don’t think there’s a one-size-fits-all approach to counselling. It’s important to find what works and what speaks to my clients. And it’s not always traditional talk therapy. I use anything and everything to bring out the ‘unsaid’ words!

I have found that using creativity in working brings out so many unexpected areas to explore: it's discovery with humour and fun. Tools I use include stones, cards, pictures, drawing, modelling clay, visualisations, toys, games, plastic animals.

It’s a route to motivate change in the most extraordinary ways. I have found that using creative tools is healing and always remembered by the client. Whether a child or an adult, creative tools are healing and effective.

Committed to quality and safety

I am passionate and committed to continually building and updating my skills and own personal development.  I receive regular Supervision from qualified Supervisors.

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling & PsychotherapyI am bound by its Code of Ethics and Practice for Counsellors, a copy of which is available on request, to ensure safe and contained counselling practice. I also hold proficiencies in Safeguarding and a current DBS.
